About Snipes Homes and Construction

Snipes Homes and Construction was incorporated in 2001.  Snipes Homes and Construction is owned and operated by Scotty Snipes in Savannah, Georgia and is focused on Custom Home building, General Contracting, Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling, Roof Contracting, and all residential construction.  Scotty Snipes and Snipes Homes & Construction began by restoring historic properties in downtown Savannah.  The unique beauity of Savannah's Historic District is near to our heart and and we love to recreate the beauty and grandeur of these homes every chance we get.  Snipes Homes stays focused on your project by old fashioned honesty and hard work.  Scotty will be on site almost daily with strict oversight.  Ask any of our former clients... they will tell you Scotty manages the job.  We are certianly NOT one of the biggest builders in Savannah... But your will always find us on site making sure your home is built right.  On-the-job oversight, and strict standards are the keys to our success in this business and you’ll be glad when you hold the keys to your new home.

In 2001 Snipes Properties LLC was formed, focusing on real estate investing, building and development.  Scotty bought, restored and sold many properties in the historic district of downtown Savannah.  As the business grew, Snipes Properties began to branch out into new home construction and development.  In 2003 Scotty and a partner developed and built-out “Archer Place Subdivision” in historic Guyton, a 34 home development featuring Neo-Classic designs using low-country style.  These simple and beautiful Neo-Classic styled homes feature detached garages, full front porches and classic lines prevalent in Savannah Style.  We are still proud to point you to the subdivision today.
